So, I know that there is another thread on here for site comments, but I thought I might as well start a fresh one, since the older one has changes listed from a while ago.

So, any further suggestions on possible changes? Any thoughts on the new changes? Any changes you want to see made on the new changes? Gimme some ideas!

  I like the new stuff.
This is starting to feel more like one of them "social networking" sites, less like just a personal website.

One thing I always wanted in this site was some sort of social aspect. If you remember the old site, it was built almost solely as a social site, but it wasn't until the redesign when I shifted the site to an almost exclusive personal blog site. There just wasn't enough traffic to warrant this place as being a social networking site. To some degree, the traffic is still lacking, but I felt since I have some trouble updating this site on a regular basis, I should get a social aspect back in, to give the members something to come back to, even if I'm MIA for a while.

Even now, the site is still, and will continue to be primarily a personal blogging site, but there is a more significant aspect of social networking than in the past. But I am glad that you're enjoying the new features, and I plan on getting some more in very soon to help with the social aspect of the site.

Ooo, new scrolling thing to comment on! heh.
So here goes:

1) It's a bit fast--I guess that's somewhat subjective, though.

2) The right border is screwy on Firefox (looks fine on IE though).

3) Not real certain what I think of the "random member" feature... it's cool considering that there's no other 'member search' feature that I'm aware of, but you also have quite a few unused/lurker accounts, so I dunno.

4) I do like the Newest Member feature.

  Ok, in response...

--- 1) It's a bit fast--I guess that's somewhat subjective, though.

You're right, it is pretty fast. It needs slowed down.

--- 2) The right border is screwy on Firefox (looks fine on IE though).

I'll check it out... I think I have FireFox on this machine... if not, I'll have to get it.

--- 3) Not real certain what I think of the "random member" feature... it's cool considering that there's no other 'member search' feature that I'm aware of, but you also have quite a few unused/lurker accounts, so I dunno.

There is a member list page forthcoming, so there will be another way to search for members... I just liked the idea of having somebody feel like they can get random contact! :)

--- 4) I do like the Newest Member feature.

Saankyuu! Now, I just need NEWER members! ;)

A couple things I think I need for the forum:

1) Quote function... realized I didn't have this when I had to copy your post, Stryke, in order to reply to it.

2) A "Subscribe to this Thread" button, so if you want to be notified of any replies to the thread, just press the button, and Voila! Should be automatic for threads you create, as well.

The Scroll is s touch fast on Chrome as well... and the width of the Marquee is 10 pixels to wide and overlaps on the right side as well..

Also there isn't a way to attach an image to the forum... I was going to post a screen shot for your technical records... but not "

The Marquee doesn't extend past the right margin anymore on Chrome.

Just playing around with the bbcode.

Oh yeah.... I don't have the BBCode working or activated yet... it'll be funny, though, because when it does go live, you should see all that crazy formatting in your previous post! :)

  Hm, no end-img tag, then?

Also, you misspelled "whisper" in your test post. >_>

Goods results so far though :)

Yeah, I saw no need to put in an end image tag, since the only parameter I am using is the image name, included in the begin image tag.

Yeah, G-man likes "whipser-ing" to people, which must be ninja for trying to whisper, and failing miserably at it, thus alienating everybody around you!
